Good morning, readers.

Good morning, Ben here (apparently the only guy in N’E who blogs). We’ve been on a couple of weeks break here, Andy went home to see his family for about a week, and we’ve been finishing up summer jobs and things like that. Tonight we start practicing in the new practice space (Vineyard Church of Elgin) which is going to be really nice. Having monitors for practice will be top notch. We’re working on a few covers, as well as a new track, and we’re hoping to have at least one new tune ready for an upcoming show.

Speaking of upcoming shows, here is what is booked for this fall:

Friday, September 3rd
Judson University (Herrick Chapel)
w/ Hey the Maker, Intoit.Overit., Matthew Jason & the Collective Debut

Saturday, September 18th
Basement Show
w/ Matthew Jason & the Collective Debut, (possibly) The Sky we Scrape, Curtis Bell, Zach Green

Friday, November 5th
Judson University
w/ Daniel & the Lion, Hail Archer, & TBA

So that’s so far, we’re in the process of booking more shows in the Chicago area. I hope that this finds you all doing well, and that we’ll get to see you very soon!

WHOOP! WHOOP! Let’s hope that The Sky We Scrape can make it to the show. The more musicians, the merrier! Oh, if anyone else is reading this, you can check out my tunes at http://myspace.com/curtisbellmusic.
